RIP Dr Keki Gharda
With deep regret we have to announce the passing away of our illustrious alumnus Dr Keki Gharda from the 1945 batch on September 30, 2024.
Dr. Gharda was a Padmashree and a pioneering scientist, entrepreneur, and philanthropist but also known as the “Father of the Indian Agro-Chemical Industry”.
Under his visionary leadership, his company Gharda Chemicals flourished, achieving remarkable milestones that will be remembered for generations. Beyond his professional accomplishments, Dr. Gharda was cherished for his humor, integrity, and unwavering dedication to the well-being of those around him and the broader community.
