TEACHER'S TRAINING & COUNSELLING

OBJECTIVE :

Teachers are an important part of our career guidance programme. To help them play their role in the guidance programme effectively the activities of the first of the tree modules were organized . The objective of the first module were:

1. To help teachers know their own attitudes
2. To help teachers know various problems of children.

METHODOLOGY :

1. Administering 30 scale attitude test.
2. Lecture by Mr.R.L. Karandikar on “Problem of students and its solutions. This lecture mainly focused on behavior of parents and its psychological effect on children
3. Individual counseling with teachers with solution to their attitudes.
4. Feed back from teachers on the recommended solution suggested – This was very positive from the teachers view point
