I have some more pleasant memories of Dr. Joe. in 1977 with Dr. Rebello i would run the Sodality clinic at
our school and it would be Dr. Joe and another luminary MUMMY aka Ena pereira in whose memory the
Pali road is fondly named. we would examine and treat over 250 patients in 4 hours and Joe would dispense all our prescriptions to the T.

As children we would have VI visual instructions. a 1 hour last period on Wednesdays. and Joe would arrange for the films and cartoons to be screened. He would be upset if the film snapped in between as the boys would create a ruckus.Joe was also responsible for the mikes at assembly and at the hall when we performed at stage shows.Another contemporary of his was Robert Vaz whom i remember as the bespectacled stationey man with hair flying from his ears. One day when our calling comes we will go and hope we will leave behind memories for
the next generation to cherish Amen
