School Bus Project

The project was launched many years back by having a SatanisNite (get-together, dance, diner) to raise the funds. We did fall short of the target and decided to review the project. After considering the capital cost of aquisition, parking place, maintenance costs and hiring the driver & cleaner, it was decided not to purchase the bus, but use the proceeds (interest) from the corpus to fund the  costs  to hire the transportation for the outdoor activity teams. With the reduction in interest rates and the increase in transport costs, the corpus by itself cannot support the costs and proceeds from other funds are required to fill the gap.
