Regret to announce the death of Teacher Philo Pereira.

Tr. Philo taught in the Primary Section of St. Stanislaus High School for 40 years.

The funeral service was held on March 15th 2008 at St. Teresa's Church, Bandra followed by the burial at St. Andrews Church cemetery.

can anyone shed some light on ...during which years was Tr. Philo teaching, and was it the primary or secondary? I had a teacher Philo Valadares (maiden name of course) and she taught us in the 7th and 8th standards and both years she was the class teacher...She was one of my favorites.. Will appreciate any information in this regard

40-years with the school!  It is truly is a record of sorts. Ever since I can remember, she was the Class teacher for the standard-III . I shall always remember her as a good teacher, kind-hearted, neatly dress, sweet-looking (she always looked increditably Sweet-16).

Tr. Philo, you will always remain alive in our memories.
