Oct 20 2021 - 11:00pm

Dear Stanislites,

I hope and pray that you and your family are safe during these trying pandemic times.

I write to you for the very first time as the new President of St. Stanislaus Ex-students Association and Principal of St. Stanislaus High School.

I am humbled by the generosity of our alumni in supporting the Teachers Health Care Program over the last 13 years. That this Healthcare Program has endured so long is thanks to your unstinting support and stamina for giving, especially in difficult times.

I appeal to you to please donate generously to the 14th Teachers Healthcare Program that covers 170 serving and retired teachers, staff, and ex-Principals.

We cover current teachers to facilitate healthcare coverage for our retired teachers and staff. Last year we paid Rs 5,36,588 as Insurance Premium to cover 169 serving and retired teachers and staff. Ten claims have been made during the year.

Due to the pandemic, we expect the insurance premium this year will be substantially higher. Hence, we have set a collection target of Rs 8 lakhs this year. We need to renew the Teachers Health Insurance policy by 20 October 2021.

Together, we can work as one: I request you to work with your batchmates to help raise many small contributions and help us reach our target of 8 lakhs. If you can get 50 of your batchmates to contribute Rs 2000 each, your batch will raise Rs 100,000 for the Teachers Healthcare Program 2021.

There are many ways to donate online as detailed on this page Indian donations can be claimed as a deduction under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act.

Thank You and Best Wishes,
Stay Safe, Wear Your Mask, Stay Healthy
Sister Arockiammal Anthony
